Hunters Lodge Fishery, Copthorne Common, West Sussex RH10 3LE
Hunters Lodge Day Ticket Fishery consists of two 1.75 acre lakes, set in stunning scenery deep in Sussex woodlands between Crawley and East Grinstead.
The location is very secluded and you will be enchanted by its beauty and tranquility. We do not have a closed season.
The lakes offer attractive features and islands with depths of up to 9 ft. Both are full of specimen common, mirror and ghost carp with weights up to 42 lb+. Alongside the Carp there are Golden Orff, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Catfish.
Jack’s Lake is where to come if you want a good day’s sport and is particularly suitable for families. Silverfish such as Roach and Rudd are present as well as Carp to 20lb+. Barbless hooks (up to size 6 maximum) must be used at all times on Jack’s Lake. Anyone found using the wrong hooks will be asked to leave.
We have introduced 25 pike fish (the largest weighing 25lbs) into Jack’s Lake. If you would like to fish for pike, please call for more information.
Mick’s Lake is our Members only lake. Numbers are limited to only 6 anglers at a time and bookings must be made in advance. Carp go to 42 lb+ and catfish to over 55 lb are also present.
