The Sussex-based duo are often seen in top weekly, Angler’s Mail magazine, including a recent contribution to our Top Tips series.
They’ve been telling us how this new video, Reservoir Diaries (above), took them considerably longer to put together than their previous works.
Released in late-August 2015, the lads’ new Reservoir Diaries follows Carl and his younger brother Alex through a season at a near 300-acre reservoir. It’s 48 minutes long.
Carl said: “Our biggest carp fishing challenge yet is the Reservoir Diaries. We first started these diaries back in late September 2014, but it was only spring 2015 when we finally started catching carp consistently.
“In this video we show all the bait, rigs, tactics and locations we fished, to catch some of the best carp we have ever caught.
“The fishing was tough to start with but once we had located the fish and baited consistently we had some great results. Hope you enjoy watching and thanks for your time!”

One of Carl and Alex’s most impressive videos, and widely applauded by anglers young and old, was The Park Lake Campaign. That too was recorded over many sessions and meticulously edited before release on YouTube last year.
Full of highs and lows, plus some terrific tactical insight, that home-made production featured amongst the must-watch Top 10 Carp Fishing Videos of 2014 – featuring DIY and manufacturer-made productions and selected by an independent Angler’s Mail team.
