CHRIS YATES, carp fishing star and vintage tackle enthusiast, is one of the most  universally-respected characters in angling.

He broke the British carp record held by Dick Walker at Redmire in 1980, starred in the BBC series A Passion For Angling and has written ten books, including a series of river diaries published between 1977 and 1980.

As Angler’s Mail magazine fully reveals, the final volume of his River Diaries never made it into print, however, because Chris lost it.

The ‘Lost’ Diary has been found, and Chris talks about here. You can help get it published too (click here for details).
