The Blue Fox Vibrax Hot Pepper Lures come under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.
EXPECT flash, vibration, colour and sound from these Vibrax Hot Pepper spinners.
Available in sizes 1 (4 g), 2 (6 g), 3 (8 g) and 4 (10 g), they’ll appeal to predators, from small perch to specimen pike.
They can be worked in depths of 2-4 ft, thanks to their 45-degree, mid-depth blade. They look ideal for attracting fish in rivers, above snaggy terrain, as well as for working around the swims on a lake, their low-frequency vibrations from the rattling body adding extra appeal.
Coming with a range of blade finishes, from brass-stamped to silver- and copper-plated, with printed and painted patterns, there’s a mix of high-visibility and more natural-looking designs to try, whether you’re looking to ‘imitate’ or ‘aggravate’.
A well-made lure, utilising a brass gear and stainless steel shaft, they are armed with extremely sharp VMC treble hooks. They’re also designed to eliminate line twist.
Prices: from £3.49.
