The NGT Weighing Pole and Crook comes under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.
THE NGT Weighing Pole and Crook has been designed to make weighing specimen fish easy.
The 170 cm (just over 5.5 ft) aluminium pole comes complete with a ground spike, a rubber grip handle and a strong, steel crook.
With your scales on the crook and a fish in the sling, the idea is that you trap your foot against the bottom of the pole, to stop it from slipping, hook the sling onto the scales and then lever the sling up, to read the weight.
It’s a steady system for weighing big fish accurately.
