The Korda Pronged Marker Leads come under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.
THE prongs on the new Korda marker leads will give you more ‘feedback’ at the rod end. The leads are also deliberately left uncoated, to also transmit more ‘feel’.
They’ll allow you to find those clearer areas in weed, and are likely to come back attached with some ‘bottom substrate’, to give you a better idea of what you are fishing over.
They’ll also help indicate the more subtle differences in your swim, for instance where gravel gives way to sand, silt or clay. Make sure you couple them with a braided main line for maximum ‘feedback’.
The weights are being sold in 2 and 3 oz or 3 and4 oz packs, to cover all distances.
Price: £4.99 a pack.
