The Guru Balsa Pellet Wagglers come under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.
ALREADY out there and bagging, the new Guru Balsa Pellet Wagglers come in a 10 mm size (6, 8 and 10 g) for medium-range work and mixed species.
For long-range and big carp, on large waters such as Earlswood Lakes or Boddington Reservoir, Guru also offer a trio of 13 mm floats (10, 12 and 14 g).
They’re made of a quality, but lightweight, durable balsa, but with a carbon stem running through the centre for strength. An exterior varnish coating adds the extra durability required for handling the rough and tough of summer carp bagging.
The float tops, either orange or yellow and fixed, so they don’t come off, include subtle but strategically positioned flights, so they fly true.
The turned-brass weight loadings are also just as tidy. Not only do they fully load the float and shot them down perfectly, they also include a small anti-dive disc to reduce float dive on touchdown and avoid spooking the fish.
The idea is you trap these floats on your mainline with their micro swivel, looped clasp Waggler Adapters. These are designed to fold perfectly to keep tangles to a minimum. Anglers will appreciate the attention to detail.
Price: £4.50 each. Adapters £2.50 for ten.
