The Gunki Pocket and Street Fishing Net Handles come under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.
LANDING net poles can be an issue when you are trying to travel light with a lure rod, restricting where you can fish. Check out these designs from Gunki.
The Pocket Handle Net is just 31 cm when carried, but made of ten sections and telescopic, it can be extended to 190 cm – just over 6 ft. It also comes with a shoulder strap.
Alternatively, there are two Gunki Street Fishing Handles – a five-section, 61 cm-long design that extends to 240 cm (just under 8 ft), and an 11-section, 46 cm model that goes to 374 cm (just over 12 ft).
Again with an adjustable strap for easy carrying, they all stow away neatly, but will extend to get down those urban walls and quay sides. They come with a standard screw fitting for a landing net head. Nice idea, Gunki.
Prices: from £59.90-£69.99.
