Dark bronze, short shank, round bend hook with a pronounced beaked-in point and available in size 12s to 20s. This high carbon steel pattern is very unobtrusive while being extremely strong thanks to its medium wire gauge. Not really suited for ultra fine hook lengths but a good design to use when bigger silver fish are taking baits like pellets, corn and maggots. Also a great choice for refined cold water carp tackle when searching for bites. Smaller sizes suit lines down to 0.10 mm, while larger hooks in the range can handle traces up to 0.14 mm and more demanding silver fish methods.
Bronze, medium shank design with a wide gape crystal bend and a beaked-in long point.
Available in sizes 12 to 22 this is a classic hook shape that’s currently popular for pellet fishing, but it also suits standard silver fish baits like maggots, casters and worms. The high carbon steel wire these hooks are formed from is just thin and light enough to use with silver fish rigs, but also strong enough to cope with bonus bigger fish. Larger sizes are tough enough for cold water carp fishing with heavier tackle. Possibly a fraction heavy when you need to scale down to extremely fine lines.
Medium shank wide gape model with a silver finish and available in sizes 14 to 22. This hook has a squared off bend and a medium point that slightly leans inwards. Ideal for baits like punched bread and hemp, also suiting maggot, caster and various worm offerings.
The fine carbon wire gauge is superb for light silver fish rigs, even when scaling down to fragile 0.06 mm to 0.08 mm hook lengths. Larger 14 to 18 sizes are strong enough for soft pellet fishing and can handle bigger fish when searching for bites in hard conditions. The bright nickel finish is a worry in clear water conditions.
Long shank bronze model with a medium carbon wire gauge, a gentle crystal bend shape and an in-turned beaked point. Designed for more delicate silver fish applications, also winter fishing for shy F1 carp. This new but classically shaped pattern is ideal for running line or pole rigs, being robust enough in larger 16 and 18 sizes to handle lines up to 0.12 mm, while smaller 20 and 22 gauges are fine enough to scale down to 0.08 mm traces.
Suits standard baits like maggots, casters and worms, although the shape of this model also lends itself to attacking bloodworm fishing for quality fish.
A new breed of fine wire hook that’s unusually forged, enhancing its strength considerably. This wide gape bronze pattern has a unique swept crystal bend shape, a medium shank and a long beaked-in point. Strong enough in larger 14 – 18 sizes to handle lines up to 3 lb, while 20 to 22 gauges are fine enough to scale down to super thin 0.06 mm traces. Designed for most popular silver fish baits including maggots, casters and corn. The forged fine carbon wire is amazingly robust and can handle surprisingly big fish. Also features super sharp long life points.
Fine wire but forged for extra strength, this bronze wide gape hook has a medium/long shank and a squared off crystal bend shape. The long chemically sharpened needle points lean in very slightly, while the sizes available are 14s to 22s. Apart from looking just right for silver fish applications, this very special pattern perfectly suits all associated baits, including hemp, punch, maggots, casters, worms, corn, pellets – even bloodworm in its smaller gauges.
The points are razor sharp and never blunt, while the forged fine wire is unbelievably strong. The ultimate fine wire silver fish hook!
