£1.55 to £1.60
Perfectly graded, dark silver grey peacock wagglers with slim balsa inserts. They have plastic bases with plug-in non-toxic loadings. The latter allow extra shot for locking and rigging, also featuring connectors with sliding collars for quick line release. This allows fast float changes while the different base weights, which range from 1 to 3 gr, can also be interchanged when more or less shot is required on rigs. These sensitive insert wagglers are mainly suited for shallow work or calm stillwater usage.
SCORE: 25/30

Satin black, superbly made peacock floats with similar plug-in base weights to Drennan’s loaded peacocks, but with interchangeable hollow plastic sight tips. The tips allow quick colour changes and don’t spoil the balance of these wagglers, which also feature plug-in base weights. The range encompasses 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 gr loadings, all allowing enough extra shot for fine-tuning and locking the floats. Makes for a versatile set of wagglers, covering a wide span of applications.

99p to £1.20
Light silver grey wagglers with medium diameter balsa inserts and fixed base weights. The latter offer 3 BB to 2 SSG loadings, also allowing for extra
locking and dropper shot. These floats have mini waggler links installed too, which facilitate quick float changes and minimise resistance on the strike. They suit a wide range of usage from lakes to slow moving rivers, while the extra long 5 AAA and 6 AAA sizes make great drift beaters in deeper water. Finish was less good on the two larger sizes.
SCORE: 26/30

Beautifully made, perfectly straight peacock wagglers with satin black finishes, plastic base eyes and medium diameter inserts. The latter are made from sarkandas reed, which is very light so it doesn’t affect balance on the cast, also offering super sensitivity. Available in 2 AAA, 5 BB, 3 AAA, 3.5 AAA, 4 AAA and 5 AAA sizes, these floats have bright orange tips and perform brilliantly. They suit many forms of subtle presentation, at varying depths in both stillwaters and slow moving rivers.
SCORE: 27/30

Finished in a distinctive metallic satin green, these are the only wagglers to offer perfectly graded peacock inserts, combined with dead straight peacock bodies. The inserts are nice and long, providing good bite detection as they settle, also giving great balance on the cast. Sizes include 2 AAA, 2.5 AAA, 3 AAA, 3.5 AAA and 2 SSG, which covers plenty of applications from lakes to sedate rivers. These traditional unloaded insert wagglers also feature ridged base eyes so float adaptors grip them securely.
SCORE: 29/30
