SOME of the biggest carp in Europe have gone on a feeding frenzy in the past week with at least four 90 lb-plus fish caught, including two World Record commons!

As reported two week ago, Eric Smith, caught the fish named after himself – Eric’s Common – for the fifth time at 91 lb from Rainbow Lake and last week that record got broken twice!

Then, at the start of last week, the World common record returned to Germany with local Mario Winnekes catching Mary at 91 lb 6 oz from a small syndicate using Pelzer Baits boilies.

Then days later, the record returned to Rainbow Lake when Eric’s Common was banked again by English boilie baron Mark Adams at 92 lb (pictured)!

Mark, boss of Elite Baits based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, took the personal best at 2am from peg 5 during a three-week long trip to France.

And a new 90 lb mirror has been caught too with The Giant breaking the magic barrier at 92 lb from Korda’s French venue Gigantica.
