THIS 3 lb 13 oz redfin from a tiny urban waterway is believed to be the biggest river roach for 23 years.

Aaron Winter’s huge redfin came from the little Hogsmill River at the big South West London town of Kingston-upon-Thames.

Few river roach over 3 lb 8 oz have been claimed in recent decades, the best being Ray Clarke’s 4 lb 3 oz former British record from the Dorset Stour way back in 1993.
