ANGLERS have continued to get behind the amazing successful Fish Fight campaign set up by angler and top TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

As we revealed last week, the Angling Trust and thousands of anglers had signed up to the campaign about the injustice of the commercial fish trade that see half of all North Sea stocks returned dead.

Celebrities who backed the campaign last week included Stephen Fry, Jeremy Paxman and Kirsty Young.

ATA chief executive Dr Bruno Broughton said: ‘We must all shoulder some responsibility for allowing the continuation of the wasteful and counter-productive policy of discarding fish.
