ANGLERS are still in shock that many historic waters in the Colne Valley are under threat from a high speed rail link.

As we’ve reported, 1980s carp mecca Savay Lake and tench wonder water Korda are both under threat from the High Speed 2 project that proposes to run 250mph trains on 15-metre-high viaduct-style structures – see
