THE Wasing Estate in Berkshire continues to knock on the door for the British carp record after the resident big ‘un The Parrot was banked at a new top weight of 64 lb 10 oz by Bernie Loftus after a 50 day-plus campaign.
Carping veteran, Bernie, from Hook, Hampshire, has been in fine form having banked the big common carp from the same the venue at 46 lb 14 oz the week earlier.
