JOHN SHUCKSMITH enjoyed an epic catch of bream - a species that is currently at peak weight in many waters, prior to spawning.
John’s trip to a local water and notched nine mega bream topped by this 14 lb 9 oz specimen with his smallest at 7 lb 4 oz.
Bassingham, Lincoln-based John baited up with 40 balls of groundbait plus half a bucket of wheat.
He then offered a cocktail of a 10 mm Dynamite Source boilie with fake corn with a Method feeder at 60 yards in 10 ft of water.
