The 48-year-old roofer won by a single point from a four-man voting panel that had to choose their top five anglers of the year.
First place from each voter was awarded five points, second four and so on to create a fair system where the best catches will come out on top.
Tring, Hertfordshire-based Ken will lift the stunning trophy and receive a cool cheque for £3,000 thanks to some historic catches.
His 2010 catches included the UK’s biggest authenticated brace of perch of 5 lb 10 oz and 4 lb 14 oz, others stripys of 5 lb 14 oz and 4 lb 14 oz, one of the biggest bream braces ever of 17 lb 8 oz and 15 lb plus an 8 lb 15 oz hybrid and about 20 double-figure bream in total.
Ken beamed: ‘That’s brilliant news. It was a great year for me although the winter hasn’t been kind.’
