WHITE ACRES – the top fishing holiday complex – has produced a massive 10 lb 3 oz eel (pictured ) that’s only 15 oz short of the British record.

Luke Jones caught the giant when seeking catfish on Pat’s Pool at the Cornwall holiday mecca.

The current British record stands at 11 lb 2 oz and was caught by carp angler Steve Terry from Kingfisher Lake, Hampshire in 1978.
