GETTING any job is no easy feat today and it has been like that for many years now as we all know; this applies to fishery management and angling as much as any other industry.

However to get you on the first step of the ladder the hugely respected Reaseheath College at Nantwich, Cheshire are thankfully introducing Fishery Management to the long list of courses already available.

Reaseheath, in fact, will be the only College where Fishery Management Courses are available for many miles around and have a huge catchment area, taking in many counties.

In fact angling, with the introduction of this educational project will have a very important role to play at the College. The aim of the courses, starting in 2013, is to get students moving up that ladder to achieve their goals.

The courses will take in various aspects of Fish Hatchery Management, angling itself, coaching, fish husbandry, practical skills and survey techniques, and that is just a few of the angling related modules to study.

The College is linked up with the nearby Coole Acres Fish Hatchery and Fishing Lakes, just outside Nantwich, to enhance the experience. They also have lakes, pools and the River Weaver on the Reaseheath site. There will be an ‘Open Day’ in the New Year and, in time, you will be able to pick up the progression via the College website, Facebook and Twitter.

There will be a range of full time courses on offer to suit everyone; the College has excellent residential accommodation and facilities for those who live further a field. To find out more about this great opportunity call Pete Bryan on 07764 159869.
