TWO English anglers have shared a massive haul of Spanish catfish, landing 75 in a fortnight, of which 51 were over 100 lb and the biggest 207 lb.

Chris Trimmer and Ken Debenham from South London were fishing the River Segre, a tributary of the Ebro, and landed a total of 8,783 lb of cats, including in one day nine for over 1,100 lb.

The experienced pair, who win Jonny Foreigner caps, were fishing with Bavaria Guiding Services and guide Bodo Kunkel, with whom they arrange 2-3 trips a year, and both have had 100 kg-plus fish in the past.
