NATIONAL newspaper reports that an angler froze to death on an overnight fishing session may prove to have been incorrect.

Temperatures were said to have plummeted to minus 12 Celsius during the night, and it was assumed that the 48-year-old car valeter from Chatham had died from hypothermia Martin Hoskins on the River Medway in Kent.
