MICHAEL DUNWORTH got more than he bargained for when he caught this stunning 41 lb common carp – and promptly won a grand in cash!

The mighty reward had been in place at a day ticket midlands venue  – named in this week’s AM magazine –  as the owner John Burnett was desperate for his renowned carp water to break the magic 40 barrier.

And venue regular Michael became the man to do it when he landed a whopper called Two Tone (same name as the British record carp) to obliterate his old PB of 23 lb 14 oz.
