Ray Mumford – Angler’s Mail has a special tribute this week.

ANGLER’S MAIL magazine this week delivers a special fond tribute to an angling great – Ray Mumford, who sadly died over the festive period.

There was only one Ray Mumford, an extraordinary man whose pioneering and individualism made him known far and wide on the match fishing scene.

He also caught specimen fish, using tactics equally as eye-opening and often controversial.

Read about Ray’s memorable life and times inside this week’s Angler’s Mail, our first issue  of 2013.

Footage of Ray fishing and making floats has survived in the British Pathé library and can be viewed by clicking HERE  and a second film can be found by typing ‘cp681’ into the same website’s search engine.
