The Sufix 832 Advanced Superline comes under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.

GAINING a reputation for being one of the most abrasion-resistant braided main lines on the market, Sufix 832 Advanced Superline is being spooled up by carpers and lure anglers.

Billed as the ‘strongest, most durable small-diameter braid’, there’s already been some promising feedback.

It is constructed from seven HMPE fibres and one Gore Performance Fibre, providing 32 weaves per inch, hence its 832 name.

Round in profile, it’s the strand of Gore Performance Fibre that is making the big difference, report Sufix, as it is helping to prevent the other fibres from rubbing against one another, which would otherwise cause a build-up of friction. The Gore Performance Fibre also helps to increase casting length and accuracy, as well as reducing line vibration.

Carpers are using the 0.24 mm (39 lb) and 0.28 mm (50 lb) sizes as a reel line, finding it cuts through weed with ease. Lure anglers, on the other hand, are opting for the 0.10 mm (13 lb) and 0.18 mm (26 lb) diameters.

The award-winning line is strong and sensitive, helping you to react quickly when a predator takes the bait.

Available from 0.10 mm (13 lb) to 0.48 mm (99 lb), it’s available in Lo Vis Green and Neon, and Multicolour in some of the heavier strains.

Bulk spools are also available.

Price: from £17.99 for 120 m.
