The Dynamite F1 Cool Water Groundbait and Pellet Soak comes under the beady eye of Angler's Mail tackle editor Richard Howard. He's the No.1 products inspector, checking out loads of quality kit every week.

KNOWING how successful their F1 Sweet Groundbait and Pellet Soak has been, Dynamite have released a couple of Cool Water variants, for when water temperatures drop.

Designed to ensure that you keep bagging in the cold, the F1 Cool Water Groundbait contains the same fish-attracting ingredients, being sweet and creamy, but it’s a darker, more subtle blend.

It’s been formulated not to overfeed fish, the idea being that it will attract and hold F1s, carp and silver fish for longer. Being dark and cloudy, it’s ideal for when fish become cautious in cold and clear water. After adding some water, to create a fluffy mix, simply pole cup it in, put it in a feeder or ball it in.

I’d recommend you replace some of the water with the new F1 Cool Water Pellet Soak, which has all the same palatants as the popular, original F1 Sweet Pellet Soak, but in a slightly reduced format, to make it more suitable for cold and clear conditions.

Available in 500 ml bottles, it can also be added to hook baits, including expander pellets during the pumping process. It will also boost fishery-own pellets, giving you an instant edge.

Prices: Groundbait £3.99; Pellet Soak £4.99.
