The Korum Day Shelter addresses the issue of headroom when you're sitting in a fishing chair. It’s tall, offering plenty of space – it’s 1.6 m from floor to peak. There’s actually enough room for a couple of anglers to sit during a day session.

It’s light too, 4 kg, takes minutes to put up and it packs away smaller than its predecessor, fitting in a quiver holdall.

It’s waterproof with taped seams, the little storm sides are a nice touch to keep a bit more ‘weather’ out.

It also comes with a tension strap and adjustable tension poles and two rod- retention straps. It’s supplied with heavy-duty pegs. Not bad at all for under £90.
