VIDEO: big carp for AM junior on the chod rig
ANGLER’S MAIL magazine’s junior contributor Alex Smith has notched a new personal best carp – a stonking 26 lb 11 oz common carp. And here we have a video of the successful session.
The 13-year-old’s catch is seen alongside the weekly tip by him and his brother Carl in our magazine (cover-dated July 10, 2012).
Alex Smith set the new common carp PB when he fished a large, wild venue. He used a throwing stick to present a large area of boilies around each of his hookbaits, and presented his bait with chod rig.
The run from his 26 lb 11 oz common came shortly before a thunderstorm flooded his bivvy!
