THE biggest carp available on a day ticket has been out again, at a new high of 58 lb 12 oz.
Dan West baited with four kilos of boilies – by no means a “crazy amount” like some noted catches have involved – during a 48-hour session at Elphicks Fisheries’ North Lake in Kent.
The biggest ever carp from a day ticket venue was the massive common, Benson, at Northamptonshire’s Bluebell complex. It peaked at 64 lb 2 oz but died two years ago.
