TACKLE mastermind Max Cottis has beaten his long-standing carp best with a 71 lb 14 oz beast in a dream session with ace Premier League footballer Lee Bowyer.
ACE boss Max helped kick start the popularity of big carp abroad when he caught a 68 lb 8 oz mirror from Cassien from 1985. He returned to France’s Rainbow Lakes for his latest top session with Birmingham City FC’s Lee.
Lee had eight giants to a PB 53 lb 7 oz common…the biggest carp by any of the known footballing anglers!
