THE British Record Fish Committee – and their record lists – are in meltdown as we can reveal a second and possible third potential record holders won’t be putting in claims.

As we revealed last week, Mark McKenna exclusively revealed he won’t be putting forward his 22 lb 9 oz record bream for various reasons including the committee poor service and nightmare paperwork.

Now disabled angler Ricky Halliday, who shocked the specimen world with a 6 lb perch from a Cotswold lake last spring, definitely won’t put in a claim.

And Ricky says a pal has caught a 6 lb 3 oz perch two weeks ago from the same water but doesn’t want any hassle either!

Former carp record holder Chris Yates (pictured) has also revealed in this week’s Angler’s Mail that he didn’t like filling in the application forms either.
