Cash winners on the Welland last November - singles champ Ken Goode, and him with the runner-up, Paul Goodsill.

IF you fancy a go at a pike fishing match with the chance of winning a cash prize, the 2012 River Welland Pike Pairs Championships takes place on this Sunday, February 19.

Angler’s Mail can confirm that Deeping St James AC are running the pairs event, at Crowland Bridge, in Lincolnshire, with the draw alongside the bridge itself at 9am, and fishing from 10am to 3pm. Rules are deadbaits and lures only.
