MIDFIELD dynamo Lee Bowyer took his annual break from a gruelling Premier League season to fish at France’s Rainbow Lake and took TWO new personal best carp.

Keen angler Lee, who won the Carling Cup in February with Birmingham City but then saw the team relegated, shared swims 7-9 with pal Martin ‘Cheesey’ Jeremey and took the 56 lb 4 oz common after an opening 48 hour blank.

It was slow again for the next couple of days before Lee had another take on his critically balanced Dynamite tiger nuts and had a slightly better common at 57 lb 12 oz.
