Angler’s Mail magazine met London angling legend Dave Vincent to fish near the Olympic Park.

LONDON 2012  has started, and although angling is not a Olympic Games sport, it’s been making waves.

As Angler’s Mail magazine reported, former World Shore Fishing Champion Chris Clark was amongst those chosen to carry the torch as it worked its way around the country.

And now, in the latest Angler’s Mail magazine, we’ve been down the the waters around the Olympic Park in East London to see what’s there to be caught.

Is the River Lea at Stratford last in the world rankings for fishing – or a gold medal fishery? Our report gets to the bottom of it.
