Eel man scoops prestigious £3,000 Pallatrax Specimen Cup!
THE new £3,000 Pallatrax Specimen Cup winner is Steve Ricketts with his remarkable catch of eels, including 9 lb 13 oz and 9 lb 1 oz giants, from a southern stillwater.
The largest of Steve’s eels is the third of the species to have been caught by design.
His mighty catch, including other big eels, was hailed at the time by specimen hunters at one of the greatest catches of coarse fish on all-time.
