DREADED cormorants topped the latest Angler’s Mail online poll which was on what are the biggest threats to angling.

A whopping 830 of you voted here and you were allowed to vote for three of 17 subjects.

And the black death plague that hits every county within the UK came out as your worst problem with 459 votes or 55 per cent.

The  Angling Trust have been working hard on the cormorant issue – read their reaction in Angler’s Mail magazine, out now.

    In my opinion we should keep the closed season to give fish and the waters time to recover from a long season. it’s like a little holiday for them.
