BRITAIN’S biggest fish have woken and monster catfish mecca, Oakwood Park, has sprung to life with monster moggies to 92 lb going on the munch.
The big ‘un fell to the rods of 31-year-old Lee Crowther, who regularly travels to the Norfolk venue from his home up in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
His colossal cat fell to a mackerel chunk, and similar tactics gave Wayne Grey an impressive 84 lb specimen.
The 43-year-old from Swindon, Wiltshire, added a 30 lb catfish – almost kitten in the day ticket fishery, formerly called Witch Lake, which has produced catfish to over 120 lb.
