BRITAIN’S biggest known carp has been caught again – and is creeping back towards her highest weight.

After coming out twice in the spring at just over 62 lb, The Parrot at Wasing Estate was caught last week by Martin Rogers at 64 lb 3 oz.

Local Martin legered boilies at long range for the new personal best specimen on Cranwells Lake at the massive venue in the Berkshire countryside.

The fish is now just 7 oz below her top weight 64 lb 10 oz caught by Bernie Lofthouse last November.

Now all eyes will be on the fish as she is creeping back towards the long-standing 67 lb 8 oz British record caught back in 2008 by Oz Holness with the now deceased Two Tone at Kent’s Conningbrook.
