HARD, big, healthy carp are on the way south to provide anglers with some serious competition… from the Highlands of Scotland!

The fish – bred by KBA Stockfish in Perthshire – have been specially nurtured in bio-secure surroundings to withstand the colder Scottish climate and produce a disease-free carp adept at feeding and surviving during long winters.

It is hoped the ‘McCarp’ will be a hit with fishery owners and anglers across the UK when they go on-sale in the near future. It may also counter the black market.
