Alien mission accomplished in style
PERSERVERANCE proved key for Dr Paul Garner when he bagged this colossal 35 lb 2 oz grass carp off the surface at a southern stillwater.
Paul, who directs operations for Nash sub-brand Peg One, caught the big grassie on his third visit, on a scorching hot day.
The big grass carp, one of three “alien species” he is targeting at the moment, was tempted from a small stock of around a dozen fish.
