Alan Scotthorne wins ‘best angling achievement’

MULTIPLE World Champion Alan Scotthorne MBE has won enough gongs in his glittering career – but he has another title under his belt after Angler’s Mail readers voted his five titles as the best ever angling achievement.

Well over 500 readers voted online at our website for the greatest angling feat.

And Shimano and Van den Eynde-backed Alan – star of our Action Replay in pages 18-20 this week – took a whopping 27 per cent of the vote.
