THE end-of-season payout structure for our exclusive Angler’s Mail Preston Innovations Matchman of the Year series has been unveiled – with a whopping £5,000 for the eventual winner.

The runner-up will collect £2,000 – that’s just £500 less than the previous year’s winner – with £1,300 for third place and a level grand for fourth.

The cash prizes for the remainder of the Top Ten are as follows: £700 (fifth), £600 (sixth), £500 (seventh), £350 (eighth), £300 (ninth) and £250 (tenth).

NEW FOR 2014/15! The new season that started in June has seen exclusive new mini-leagues for rivers, for canals and also for stillwaters. So even more anglers have a chance of starring, regardless of the type of water they mainly fish. There are prizes too!

Like the main points leaderboard, the weekly Angler’s Mail magazine is the only place to follow the mini-leagues series.

Points are awarded as follows, in weekend and Bank Holiday open matches and bona-fide leagues of a) 50-plus entry: 5, 4, 3, 2 &1; b) 40-plus entry: 4, 3, 2 & 1; c) 30-plus entry: 3, 2 & 1.

Contests and any disputes must be reported to Angler’s Mail. As organisers and promoters of the contest, in conjunction with our sponsors, our decision in any such matters will be final and binding.
