ENGLAND (pictured) were crowned World Champions at the World Feeder Fishing Championship 2014 in Ireland. Angler's Mail reports...

THE Preston Innovations-sponsored England Feeder Team annihilated their 24 rival nations on Ireland’s Inniscarra Reservoir.

It’s England first time on top of the podium, collecting the the FIPS World Championships title, in the event’s four-year history.

The individual gold went to Steve Ringer and there was bronze for  Mick Vials.

After blitzing Day 1 with 11 points thanks to section wins for Steve and Mick, second for Phil Ringer, third for Adam Wakelin and fourth for Dean Barlow, England clearly had the venue sussed… as is shown below in the final points table.
