A WELL-LOVED match angler has died in mysterious circumstances after celebrating the end of a festival in a fun-loving boozy town centre.

Mick Kearns had enjoyed a match at popular White Acres in Cornwall and later went out on an ill-fated drinking session in nearby Newquay that is know as the party-capital of the south west.
