If you are like me you will probably end up with lots of partially used bags of groundbait, because you didn’t need to mix a whole bag during a session.

Well these leftovers are excellent for my variety mix which works very well on flooded rivers. I basically save these remnants and mix them all together for balling in off the rod end on flooded rivers and then fish a lobworm feeder over the top.

It’s excellent. True there are days when specific types of groundbaits are more effective than others but on a flooded river it’s more a case of using groundbait than what the flavour is. As long as the mix isn’t a lightweight cloud you should be fine.
