There must be something in the water at Buttonhole Lake because catches have been remarkable over the past few months at this Marshland St James venue in Cambridgeshire. The Red Lion Piscators club based at Shobdon in Herefordshire near the Wales border has a couple of stillwaters. The first is the The Larches. If you are not a member you can fish it on a £5 day ticket, available from Shobdon Post Office or on the bank. Next door is the Pumphouse Pool, a members-only stillwater.
